Rites For Macon Native
Conducted Sunday Afternoon


Mrs. Dora Belle Angel Wooten, 72, died at 10:45 p. m. Friday at her home in the Cullasaja community. She had been ill two days.

She was a native of Macon County and had resided here all her life. She was a daughter of Thomas and Mrs. Addie Miller Angel, born Feb. 5, 1885. On Aug. 6, 1912, she married Frank Wooten, also of this county. He survives.

Mrs. Wooten was a member of Sugarfork Baptist Church. Funeral services were held there Sunday afternoon at 4 o’clock with the pastor, the Rev. Jarvis Underwood, in charge. He was assisted by the Rev. Conrad Barrett, the Rev. Fred Sorrells, and the Rev. Frank Holland.

Pallbears were Cliff Cook, Fred Buchanan, John Gibson, Wiley Ashe, Pritchard Russell, and Branson Barrett.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are three daughters, Mrs. Clyde Crisp and Mrs. Grover Sorrells, of Franklin, Route 5, and Mrs. Lloyd Sanders, of Frankfurt, Germany; two brothers, Dave Angel, of Route 5, and Robert, of Georgia; a sister, Mrs. Frank Daves, of Route 2; and nine grandchildren.
