COURIER-JOURNAL OBITUARY
Sharpenstein, Lowell Stroud, 70, died June 27th, 2011.
He was a retired employee of A & P Stores and enjoyed doing genealogy research, tracing his family back to 1500s Germany. His parents, Stroud and Connie Oleta Sharpenstein preceded him in death. Survivors include his children, Tony (Anita) and Chris (Debbie) Sharpenstein and Denise Sharpenstein; brother Quentin Sharpenstein (Paula); his companion Jeanette Wirth; best friends Dr. Kenneth Tucker and Pat McDonald; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ratterman and Sons, 3800 Bardstown Road, with burial in Lone Oak Cemetery, Grayson County. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
