John Chamberlain, carpenter, dies less than two hours after having both legs practically cut off when knocked down and run over by freight cars.
Leaves Widow and Children
The Chamberlain family resided in St. Joseph. The deceased was about 71 years of age and is survived by a widow and three children.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon from the Chamberlain home on the Territorial Road. Local Masons will have charge of the burial, the deceased having been a member of the Blue Lodge at Kentland, IN.
Burial will be held at the Millburg Cemetery. The hour of the funeral is 2:30 o'clock.
