Frank Olaf Nystrom was born on February 20, 1873 at Scandia, and
passed away February 17, 1942 at his farm home west of Republic at
the age of 68 years, 11 months and 27 days.
Frank, son of Gustaf and Marie Nystrom, was united in marriage to
Minnie B. Weislogel at Scandia on January 18, 1897.
After their marriage they moved to a farm near Scandia, living there
three years, in 1900 they purchased a farm near Republic and have resided
there until his death.
To this union were born 11 children, four of whom proceeded him in
death. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Minnie B., two
daughters, Ethel and Marguerite; five sons, Ernest, Carl, Lester, Lawrence
and Russell. Four granddaughters and two grandsons. Also three brothers, Gus
and John of Scandia and Henry of Sabetha, and one sister, Mrs. Ella Hammer of
Norway.
Interment in the Lake Cemetery.
