TROUTDALE, Va. - Wesley F. Brown, 77, died Tuesday, May 21, 2002, at home. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and was retired from Brunswick Corp.
He is survived by his wife, Pansy Johnson Brown of Troutdale; one daughter and son-in-law, Geneva and Herman Kirk of Troutdale; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Cecil and Lynne Brown of Meadowview and Roger L. Brown of Troutdale; one sister, Belva Billings of Troutdale; three grandchildren, Amy Kirk, Jessica Brown and Rebecca Brown; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 23, 2002, at 11 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Ernest Powers, Rev. Ralph Surber and Rev. Dennis Eller officiating. Burial will follow in Troutdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7 until 9 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Seaver-Brown Funeral Service is serving the Brown family.
