Elizabeth's parents, birth location and date are unknown.

Unsourced trees list her father's last name as Morell or Morel, however no record has ever been found to date. Her father has been proven not to be the John Morel (see Morel-509 on WikiTree) family of Bryan and Chatham Counties in Georgia. It is possible that both Elizabeth and her husband were born earlier than their listed dates. Until a source is found (marriage record or source from the time she was alive) the name Morel is being removed. The location of her birth has not been found so Albemarle County, Virginia is being removed until a source is found. On WikiTree see her profile for additional details. She is listed as Unknown-643817.

Elizabeth was born about 1761 and married Richard Harvey at an unknown date and place. Although no record has been found of her marriage, some sites note she was married in Virginia and some have noted "Elizabeth married Richard Harvey 1776 Cataret Co. English Province, North Carolina." In 1792. The first record found of the family being in Georgia was when Richard obtained 300 acres of land in Effingham County, Georgia on the South side of Black Creek and it was surveyed in 1793. Later this property became Bryan County. Richard is listed in the 1820 Bryan County Georgia census. A newspaper article documents his death in 1823 (see photo on his findagrave profile). In the Savannah Daily Republican newspaper on 11 October 1823 and 14 October 1823, the following probate notices were published: in Bryan County, John Harvey applied for letters of administration on the estate and effects of Richard Harvey on 3 October 1823. In 1827 an indenture was signed by Elizabeth, her sons and the spouses of her two daughters about a land settlement (see attached document).

The E. Harvey (Wid) in the 1840 Bryan County, Georgia is the Elizabeth that married Richard. Her death would have been sometime after that census was taken. The exact location of Richard and Elizabeth's graves are not known.
Their children are:
1. John M. born 1787 and died 9 Nov 1861 Baker, Florida.
2. Isaac married Elizabeth Burnside
3. Nancy married Hiram Waller
4. Sarah Jane died in Baker, Florida married William Andrew Williams
5. Richard Thomas: born 1800 and died 1860. He married Cynthia Burnside.
6. Emanuel

Note: no records have been found to prove 2 children being attributed to Richard/Elizabeth and they were Lemuel and Elizabeth.

SEE BELOW for 5 children previously listed as children of Richard and Elizabeth. A Will of Emanuel Harvey (see WikiTree Harvey-12756 and Unknown-630041 and Family Search ID GFVM-6NG) of Bryan County, Georgia lists his children as

5. Susan McElvene.
