Little Marguerite leaves to mourn her going, besides her father and mother, one sister, Mrs. Helen Hicks, and four brothers, Ed, Clyde, Raymond and J.D., all of this city, also an aged grandmother, Mrs. Mary McEntire of Metropolis, Ill., and many other relatives.
Marguerite was an unusually sweet child, and was loved by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by her family and by the neighbors and friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the home, conducted by Rev. Roy Bradley.
God forbids her longer stay,
God recalls his precious loan,
He hath taken her away from
Our bosom to His own.
Surely what He wishes is best, happy in His will we rest.
