Bridget was raised in the St. Jacques-de-Leeds, Megantic area of Quebec. She married John Miller on May 29, 1867 in Montreal. John was a policeman who died in 1883. Bridget is buried with her family in the large Catholic Cemetery in Montreal. John is buried in the Angelican Cemetery.

In addition to son, Mathew Miller, buried in this grave, she also was the mother of John Henry Miller born in 1868 and died in 1869 in Montreal, remains unknown; and Emma Catherine Miller Powell born in 1879 and died in 1965 in Hartford, Connecticut.
