Catherine 'Kate' Brown Barden is the daughter of David Brown and Mary Naughton. She was born in Big Bridge, Limerick, Ireland. She married Patrick Barden January 12, 1836 in St. Sylvestre, Lotbiniere, Quebec, Canada. Of this union 13 children were born. She died in Lancaster, New Hampshire while living with her daughter Joanna.
