John William Sebastian, 54 of 141 1/2 Oakland Ave. died yesterday of a heart attack. He had been in ill health two years.

Born in Gordonville, Mo., April 15, 1902, he was the son of John and Caroline Ehlebe Sebastian.

He came here from Flint in 1940 and had been employed at the Pontiac Motor Division.

Surviving are his wife, Anna and five children, John Jr., George, Mrs. Phyllis Valley, Sally and Gloria Sebastian, of Pontiac.

Also surviving are two brothers, Rudy at Pontiac and Herman of Cape Girardeau, Mo; three sisters Myra, Lula and Mrs. Theta Nussbaum, all of Girardeau.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later by the Huntoon Funeral Home.

John Sebastian, 54 years old of Pontiac, Mich., and former resident of Cape, died Thursday after at Pontiac according to word received here by relatives. The body is to be brought here.

Mr. Sebastian is survived by his wife, Mrs. Anna Sebastian; three daughter, Mrs. Phillis Valley and Sally and Gloria Sebastian of Pontiac; two sons, John Sebastian, who is at a school in New York and George Sebastian of Pontiac four sisters, the Misses Myra and Lula Sebastian, 24 South Lorimier Street and Mrs. George Nussbaum and Mrs. Henry Sailer of Gordonville and two brothers, Herman Sebastian of Cape and Rudy Sebastian of Pontiac.

Born at Gordonville on April 15, 1902, he was a son of the Late Mr. and Mrs. John Sebastian. He was employed at the shoe factory here before moving to Pontiac about 15 years ago. He was known to his friends as "Jack".

A little ditty that Uncle Jack taught us:

"One a orie ickrie em, fissle fossil nickel John, ebe quaby English navy, stinkle stonkle Johnson buck."
