Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church with the pastor, Rev. F. H. Melzer, in charge. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The body will be taken to the church at noon Friday from the Brinkopf-Howell Funeral Home.
Mr. Sebastian is survived by four sons, Herman, Rudolph and Carrol Sebastian of Cape Girardeau and John Sebastian of Pontiac, Mich. four daughters : Mrs. Henry Sailer and Mrs, George Nussbaum of Gordonville and Misses Lula and Myra Sebastian at home; a brother, Emil Sebastian of Cape Girardeau; a sister Mrs. Wm Bruening of Jackson and 16 grandchildren.
Mr. Sebastian was born at Old Appleton, Jan 2, 1863 and farmed in that community for a number of years before moving to Gordonville, where he was employed at a flour Mill for 13 years.
In 1891, he married to Miss Matilda Koester, who passed away March 9, 1892. In 1893, he was married to Miss Carolyn (Caroline) Ehelebe, who died in 1933. Mr. Sebastian moved to Cape Girardeau 24 years ago and engaged in the carpenter business.

Mathilda Catherine Kester on April 12, 1891 at Zion Lutheran Church, Gordonville until her death on March 9, 1892. Married to Carrie Ehlebe on July 20, 1893 at Warsaw, IL. He was a farmer and carpenter in Gordonville, MO prior to moving to Cape Girardeau, MO.
He was baptized as Johannes Wilhelm.
