Mrs Carrie Sebastian, wife of John Sebastian, a retired carpenter, died of a heart ailment at 12;50 o'clock this afternoon at the family home, 24 South Lorimier street. She had been ill for eight weeks.

The body was removed to the Brinkopf-Howell Fumeral Home and will be returned early Wednesday to the family home, where it will remain until time for funeral services. Funeral arrangements have not been made.

Born on May 16,1868 at Warsaw, Ill. Mrs. Sebastian was 65 years old. Her maiden name was Carrie Ehelebe. She resided in the Illinois community until her marriage to Mr. Sebastian in 1893. Then the couple came to Cape Girardeau County. For 29 years they lived at Gordonville, and for the past 13 years they have resided at the South Lorimier street address.

Mrs. Sebastian had been a member of Trinity Lutheran Church since she came to Cape Girardeau.

Besides her husband she is survived by seven children four sons, three daughters, and a step-daughter. The sons are Herman, Rudolph and Carroll Sebastian of Cape Girardeau and John Sebastian of Flint, Mich. The daughters are Misses Lulu, and Myra and Theta Nussbaum, all of the home here. The step-daughter is Mrs. Bertha Sailer of Gordonville. There are seven grandchildren.
