Leonard (Bud) Huff was born November 29, 1909, the son of John and Frances (Mayer) Huff in Minneapolis, MN. When he was a boy, his mother was asked to raise her nephew, Leo Murphy because his mother (her sister) died when Leo was still a baby. Bud and his sister Agnes moved to the Murphy farm in Shieldsville Township too. He was raised like a brother to Leo.
Bud married Gert Duffney on Feb 3, 1931. After their marriage they lived in Minneapolis. They had one son, Donald J. Huff. Bud died Nov 12, 1957.
