Mrs. Minnie Hudson Paxton wife of William Cager Paxton, died 29 Feb 1916 after a protracted illness. A simple funeral service at the grave was her request. Rev. W.E. B. Harris conducted the service. Mrs. Paxton was born 28 Apr 1883. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.I. Hudson, her father passing on before only a few months ago. Mrs. Paxton was a noble woman in every respect. Her sweet temperament and lovely Christian character endeared her to many friends. She was a consistent member of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church, where she always was seen when her health permitted. She was married 30 Dec 1903 to Mr. Cager Paxton, with whom she lived happily until death severed the relation. Mrs. Paxton leaves a heartbroken Husband to mourn her loss, also a mother, sisters, and a brother, relatives, friends and acquaintances. She was laid to rest in the Bethlehem Cem. 1 Mar 1916.
