Mrs. Martha Eliza Moore, 89, died 19 May [1961] at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J.P. Bridgewater in the Ebenezer community. Mrs. Moore was a daughter of the late John Ike and Susan Elizabeth Brown Hudson, and was the oldest member of the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church. Other survivors include a son, Odus Moore, Greensburg; 1 sister, Mrs. Josie Paxton, Greensburg; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sat. at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with Mr. Robert Cameron and Rev. V.A. Jones officiating. Burial was in the Hudson Cem. Pallbearers were Oscar Paxton, Marshall Paxton, Druid Paxton, Cecil Paxton, Calvin Paxton, Boyce Hudson and Averett Powell. Honorary pallbearers were Shively Vaughn, Ellis, Thomas and Kenneth Coffey, Joe Moore, Lewis Moore, Earnest Paxton, Hugh Paxton, and Roy McMahan.
