LONG ILLNESS IS FATAL TO EDINA DENTIST
Edina, Mo., July 16. —Dr. Charles Allen Brown, 68, died at his home in Edina Monday morning at 5 o'clock. He had been ailing since lost October and seriously ill the last month.
Dr. Brown was born in Memphis, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed J. Brown, November 22, 1865. The family later went to LaGrange and came to Edina m 1868. He married Miss Cora Lovegreen November 22, 1911. Three children were born, Charles, Joseph, who died when a child, and Betty.
Dr. Brown was graduated from the St. Louis College of Pharmacy and from the Western Dental College of Kansas City. In the year 1889 he and his brother, B B. Brown, purchased the drug store in Edina from their father. The store was burned and in 1891 Dr. Brown took up the practice of dentistry, which he continued until last October.
Surviving are his widow; two children, at home; and two half-brothers, Dr. K. S. Brown, a dentist of Edina, and John Brown, of Helena, Mont.
The funeral will be held in the home Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with burial in Linville cemetery. The services will be in charge of the Rev. J. P. Ingerslew of Edina.
