Miss Katie Newby married Harry S. Coleman on 10 December 1916 at Graham, Texas. He preceded her in death.
She had lived most of her life in Olney before moving to Temple in 1991, then to Brownwood in 1993. She was a member of the Olney First Baptist church for more than 70 years and of Calvary Baptist Church in Brownwood at the time of her death.
Survived by two sons - Raymond Coleman of Oceanside, CA and Adrian Coleman of Brownwood; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son - Donald Coleman.
