Sophronia Whitman Bush died Tuesday, Jan.7,1919 at her home in Buckeye twp., after a long illness with tuberculosis. She was born in Monroe County Feb.23,1858, and was aged 60yrs, 10 mo. and 14 days. She had been a resident of Gladwin County over 20 years. Services were held at the home Thursday morning at 10 o'clock by Rev.J. H. Cornelius, followed by interment in Highland Cemetary. She is survived by five daughters; Mrs. Sara Arnold and Mrs. Ira Mansfield of Gladwin; Ida Thomas and Mr. & Mrs. Myrta Brown of Sidnaw, and Gertie Brown of Flint; three sons; George Whitman of Bay City and Dan & Floyd Whitman of Gladwin.
