William H. Heath was the son of Frederick G.L. Heath and his 2nd wife Emmaline Gibson. He married Piety Moore. Right after their marriage the couple moved to California, not returning to Texas until their 3rd child was born in Feb 1895. William Heath and Piety had three children together:

In the 1900 census, the family is living in Galena Township, Joplin City, Jasper County, Missouri where William is working as a day laborer and all 3 children are in the home.

After the death of William Heath on 9 Jan 1907, Piety (Moore) Heath remarried. She remarried 30 Jan 1908 Daniel Travis Jean, the son of Darius Thomas Jean and Francis Louiza Modisett from GA. It was a 2nd marriage for Daniel as well. He had first married Matilda Agnes Copeland with whom he had 11 children. Daniel and Piety Jean are in the 1910 Hill Co Texas census.

Piety and Daniel Travis Jean had two children:
Opal Agnes Jean born 5 Feb 1910 Hill Co TX who married 20 Feb 1926 Bishop Horace Clifton
John D. (went by J.D.) Jean born 27 July 1912 d. 1 Aug 1943 who married Ruth Esther Miller on 22 Dec 1930 in Hill County, TX.
