Richard B. Heath died after 1903 in Hill County, Texas. He was born to Frederick G. L. Heath and Emmaline Gibson Heath in the 1870s. The exact day of his birth has not been found; the census records reflect various dates.

Richard B. Heath married Bessie Belle Walker on February 6, 1898, in Hill County, Texas, using the name R. B. Heath.

Bessie died at age 24 years on September 9, 1903, near Huron.

Richard and Bessie had the following children born to them in Hill County, Texas:

1) Effie Belle Heath, born October 29, 1898; died June 19, 1972; (Memorial ID 64232320)

2) Sadie Lorraine Heath, born in 1900; died in 1973; (Memorial ID 74999233)
(Sadie is buried in Dewey Cemetery in Washington County, OK, next to her husband, Lewis Walter Greenway, Jr., with headstone reading Lorraine Greenway;

3) Melvin T. Heath, born in 1903; died at age 17 months on May 24, 1904.

Bessie and Melvin reportedly died of tuberculosis. It is believed that Richard did not live much longer after their deaths.

Effie married Wesson Kennedy on May 5, 1917, in Hill County, Texas. They eventually settled in Weatherford, Parker County, Texas. Effie died on June 19, 1972, in Fort Worth, and is buried in Memory Gardens of the Valley, Weatherford.

Sadie married Lewis Walter Greenway, Jr., and settled in Bartlesville, OK. She and Lewis adopted one child, Martha Greenway. Sadie died in 1973 and is buried in Dewey Cemetery, Dewey, OK.

Richard B. HEATH b. Feb 1877* d. aft 1903. Richard married on 7 Feb 1898 'Bessie' WALKER b. Nov 1880 and died 9 Sept 1903. Richard and 'Bessie' and their son Melvin all died of tuberculosis, leaving two orphaned girls: Effie and Sadie. Son Melvin T. Heath b. 1903 in Hill Co, Tx and died of tuberculosis 5/24/1904 in Hill Co., Tx. Daughter Effie went to live with a Mrs. Botkin (Amanda Barker Botkin) and her sister Sadie went to live with Mrs. Botkin's sister (Nancy Barker Allen) in Peoria, Hill County, TX so the two girls were able to stay connected. * If his sister Ada's birth date is correct, then Richard could not have been born in Feb 1877 but possibly 1878. His parents listed conflicting info in 1870 and 1880 census. I believe birth order to be correct. The family is in the 1900 census for Hill Co TX where he lists his birth as July 1872 and his wife Bessie's as Nov 1880. They are farming next door to a Walker family. Their burial location has not been found.
