C.D. Heath, 62, died at the family residence, 512 East Reynolds street at 3:00 Thursday afternoon following a stroke of paralysis suffered last Wednesday afternoon.
Mr. Heath was born in Whitney, Texas on March 16, 1867. He moved to Stamford in 1915 locating on a farm east of Stamford on which he lived until 1923 when he purchased the Cargill old home on East Reynolds street and moved there.
Surviving: his wife, one daughter - Fay Heath of Stamford, one son: Elmer Heath of Old Glory, one brother: B. F. Heath of Osceola, TX; two sisters: Mrs. T.A. Jean and Mrs. J.S. Terrill, both of Hamlin
Services for C.D. Heath, 62, were held at his home in Stamford, Texas officiated by Rev. Hamblen of Abilene, Texas. Mr. Heath was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church.
