She was born Oct. 15, 1921, in Linton, Ore., to Fred and Irene (Wright) Schlick. She graduate valedictorian from Naselle High School.
Mrs. Abercrombie was a welder at the Vancouver Shipyards. She later owned and operated a restaurant and trailer court in Toutle.
She married William Wesley Abercrombie in Longview on Aug. 16, 1942. He preceded her in death in 1995.
Mrs. Abercrombie is survived by two sons, Steven Abercrombie and Tom Abercrombie; two daughters, Karen Abercrombie and Darlene Eggimann; a sister, Janet Burge; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
No service is scheduled at this time. Private burial will take place at Silver Lake Cemetery.
