He was born in Clinton, Mo. and had lived here 60 years. Mr. Whittaker retired 20 years ago as a general superintendent for the Fogel Construction company. He was a member of the Drake Chapel Methodist church near Clinton, and was a member of Masonic lodge 299. He leaves two daughters, Miss Virginia Whittaker, 1301 West forty-fifth, and Mrs. Helen Miller, Denver; a son, Gordon White, 2917 West Seventy-second, Prairie Village, and four grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 1 o'clock Monday at the Forest Hill cemetery. Friends may call after 4 o'clock today at the Muehiebach chapel.
