Irma Lee Lungren Geis, 75, of Worland died June 6 in Worland.

She was born on Sept. 28, 1935, in Worland, to Adam and Elizabeth (Deines) Lungren. She graduated from Washakie County High School in 1953 and was a student at the University of Wyoming for two years.

She went to work for Carter Oil Co. in Worland as a secretary. She married Jerry Geis on Nov. 3, 1956. She worked for the Worland School District as a secretary from 1965 to 2001

She was a lifetime member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Worland. She enjoyed singing alto in the Chancel Choir. She served on the Worland Planning Commission and was a member of the Worland Homemakers.

She was preceded in death by her parents; by her brother, Victor Lungren; and by her sisters, Alvena Barnes and Mollie Schaff.

Mrs. Geis is survived by her husband, Gerald E. "Jerry" Geis of Worland; daughters, Elizabeth Pike of Fort Collins, Colo., and Cheryl Marie Geis of Centennial, Colo.; four grandchildren; brothers, Ruben Lungren and Lloyd Lungren of Worland; sisters, Irene Bihr, Dorothy Scheuerman and Bernice Stine, all of Worland and Sharon Perryman of Cheyenne; and by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
