Married Evelyn Barber Ellis in Cheyenne, Wyoming on November 6, 1948. They were divorced in 1957 and had no children.

Northern Wyoming Daily News, May 21, 1992:

"Victor Lungren, 77, of Rawlins, former Worland resident, died Monday, May 18, in Rawlins.

He was born Dec. 7, 1914, in Bayard, Neb., a son of Adam and Elizabeth (Deines) Lungren. He attended school in Worland and helped in the family farming business. He also worked for Holly Sugar.

He was inducted into military service in 1941 and served during World War II at various stateside bases and the Aleutian Islands. While in the Aleutians, he was injured and after recovering in a military hospital in Walla Walla, Wash., was honorably discharged in 1944.

He returned to Wyoming where he went to work lambing for the Bassett Ranch in the Ten Sleep area. In early 1945, he went to Cheyenne where he began his career in the bar business.

He worked as manager of the Valencia Bar, later becoming co-owner. After selling his interest in the Valencia, he purchased Bob's Bar which he operated until the late 1970s. He then worked at the Mayflower Bar for 15 years until his retirement.

He remained in Cheyenne until January when he moved to Rawlins to live with his niece.

On Nov. 6, 1948, he married Evelyn Barber Ellis in Cheyenne. They were divorced in 1957.

Mr. Lungren was a member of the Veterans of foreign Wars, the Disabled American Veterans, BPOE Elks Lodge No. 66 and the Eagles Club of Cheyenne. He employed collecting and displaying American flags.

Survivors include two brothers, Ruben and Lloyd Sr., both of Worland and six sisters, Mrs. Irene Fritz, Mrs. Dorothy Scheuerman, Mrs. Bernice Stine and Mrs. Irma Geis, all of Worland, Mrs. Mollie Schaff of Riverton and Mrs. Sharon Perryman of Littleton, Colo. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Mrs. Alvena Barnes.

The service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday in the Zion Lutheran Church in Worland, with the Rev. Tim Janos officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Graveside service will be conducted by the American Legion."
