Mrs. Chester Scearce Dies

Mrs. Chester G. Scearce (nee Kate Harlan) died suddenly Tuesday, at Lake City, Fla. The funeral will be at the Kirby Mortuary, Indianapolis, Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock, with burial in the South cemetery, near 3 o'clock.

Mrs. Scearce was 80 years old and lived in Indianapolis with her son, Wilbur. She was accompanying her son to Miami, on a business trip, when she became suddenly ill. Survivors are two sons Ralph, of Baton Rouge, La., Wilbur, Indianapolis; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
