Obituary for Dr. Wilbur K. Harlan

Dr. Wilbur K. Harlan, 29 years old, died in San Antonio, Texas, Friday, Feb. 17th of consumption and grippe. The remains were brought here Monday, and the funeral took place from his father's residence, Tuesday afternoon, Rev. E.D. Smith of the M.E. church, officiating. The burial was at the South cemetery and in charge of the order of Odd Fellows, of which the deceased was a member. He leaves a young wife, father and sister, and a host of warm personal friends to mourn their loss. Wilbur was for several years a victim of the fell destroyer, consumption, and in trying to ward it off had tried the effects of various climates in the west. He was a gentle, yet warm genial disposition that made him friends everywhere. The family has the sympathy of the entire community.
