ROY---Thomas Stoddard Brenchley, 90, passed away Friday, November 10, 2006 at his home in Roy.

Thomas was born in Wellsville, Utah, May 29, 1916 to Thomas Clegg and Catherine Duncan Stoddard Brenchley. He graduated from South Cache High School in 1935. He married Norma Rhea Middleton in 1936. On April 27, 1953 they were sealed for time and eternity in the Salt Lake Temple.

Throughout his life he worked at a variety of jobs including gold miner, heavy equipment operator, lab technician, auto mechanic, and furniture maker. Eventually, he and Norma opened Brenchley's Furniture in Roy.

The family remembers Tom as an avid hunter, fisherman, and horseman.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was a High Priest in the Roy 7th Ward.

Tom is survived by his wife, three daughters, two sons, 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 18, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the Lakeview Stake Center, 4900 S. 200 W., Roy, Utah. Family and friends may call on Saturday at the church from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services.

Interment Ogden City Cemetery.
