WILMA MAE ROBERTS, 90 of Lakeland, died June 6, 2011 due to complications of infection. Wilma was born October 2, 1920 in Conneaut, OH to Arthur Clyde and Mae (Shumake) Bartlett and moved to Lakeland in 1978 from Lake City, PA. Wilma is a member of Victory Assembly of God Church in Lakeland and was an avid and prize winning quilter. She was united in marriage on December 8, 1940 to her husband Walter who preceded her in death February 20, 2011. She is survived by her sons, Bernard (Betty) Roberts of Lakeland and Ron (Sandra) Roberts of Green Cove Springs, FL; her daughter, Lynda Owens of Lakeland, her five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Wilma was one of thirteen brothers and sisters and is also survived by one brother and three sisters. Friends will be received from 11:00 am – 12:00 noon on Friday at the Lakeland Funeral Home Chapel where funeral services will be held that day at 12:00 noon. Interment will take place in Oak Hill Burial Park Cemetery.
