Dennis C. Johnson,Van Wert,Ohio,died Thursday, Feb. 7,2008 at the Van Wert County Hospital.
Survivors include his wife,Ona Mae (Sliger)Johnson;two sons,Jerry L.(Dea)Johnson,Van Wert and Doyt F. (Nina)Johnson of Winchester;four daughters,Bonnie (Tom)Fiedler and Beverly (Michael)Kantzer,both of Ft.Wayne,Barbara (Jim) Buttermore of McComb,Oh.,and Deborah (Jerry) Gordon of Hoagland,Ind.;a sister,Sibyl Bardsley of Decatur;11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents,Doyt Clifford and Gertrude (Stemen)Johnson.
The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Cowan and Son Funeral Home,Van Wert. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation is 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
