Catherine Ida Bruens, 77, of Milford, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Watseka Rehab & Health Care Center.
Visitation will run from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2011, at Knapp Funeral Home in Milford and for 1 hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service on Friday, May 27, 2011, at St. John's Lutheran Church at Schwer. Rev. John Brennan will officiate. Burial will be at Sugar Creek Cemetery in Stockland.
Catherine was born April 22, 1934, in Martinton Twp., a daughter of Harvy and Nettie Fink Probasco. She married Donald ElRoy Bruens on December 26, 1978 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Milford and he survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Becky (Richard) Pentecost of Watseka; two sons, Richard (Mary Ann) Kincade of Racine, WI and Ernest Kincade of Edgerton, WI; two sisters, Betty (Everett) Longest of Milford and Elna Mae (Lee) Bertram of Arizona; two brothers, Franklin Probasco of Danville and Donald (Ethel) Probasco of Milford; twelve grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Howard Probasco; one son, Cort Kincade; and one grandson, Justin Kincade.
Mrs. Bruens was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church at Schwer.
