Ruth Lang, 94, Ellis, died Thursday, March 10, 2005, at Trego County-Lemke Memorial Hospital. She was born Jan. 12, 1911, in Ellis County to Thomas and Abbie (Andrews) Hurt.
She married Mike M. Lang on June 7, 1932, in Ellis. He died May 23, 1975. She was a teller at Ellis State Bank for 30 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Twila Weichert, Rochester, Minn.; a brother, Ray Hurt, Ellis; a sister, Esther Marsden, Florida; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Lang.
Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Cemetery, Ellis. Visitation will be from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Tuesday at Wasinger Funeral Home, Ellis.
