Miss Esther M. Hampson, 88, of 303 S. Main St., Pleasantville, died Friday in Gaulden Manor Nursing Center, Baltimore.
Past county president of the Women's Christian Temperance Union, she was a member of the White Shield Chapter Eastern Star No. 97, life-long member of American Legion Auxiliary Unit Nine, Pleasantville, and Lincoln Avenue United Methodist Church. She is survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, 1:30 p.m., at the Halteman-Fett Funeral Home; the Rev. Stephen Price officiating; burial in Hampson Cemetery.
Friends may call today, 2-4 and 7-9, at the funeral home. Fairfield County Women's Temperance held services today, 3:30 p.m., at the funeral home.
