Mrs. Carrie A .Hampson, 78, wife of James Hampson, died Sunday, 5 a. m., at her home south of Pleasantville, following a long illness.
In addition to her husband, she leaves one son, James Verne, Pleasantville; a daughter, Miss Esther Hampson of the home; two grandsons; and two sisters, Mrs. Kagay, Pleasantville, and Mrs. T. B. Warner, Baltimore.
Mrs. Hampson's death occurred just four weeks following that of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Verne Hampson.
Funeral services will be held at the home, Wednesday, 2 p. m., with the Rev. William A. Ervin and the Rev. F. W. Obee, Methodist pastors, officiating. Burial is to be made in Pleasantville cemetery by Fred Hampson, funeral director. Friends may call at the Hampson home any time.
