Clarence "Bruce" B. Bender, of Plainfield (town of Pine Grove), passed away on Dec. 15, 2002, at St. Michael's Hospital.
Services were held at the St. Paul Catholic Church in Plainfield. Burial in the Plainfield Village Cemetery.
Born Dec. 11, 1937, in Wisconsin, son of Glennwood and Mildred (Hendricks) Bender. Married to Virginia A. Butts on Sept. 22, 1956. She died Oct. 31, 1999.
Employed with Consolidated Papers Inc. for 44 years until his retirement.
Survivors include one daughter, Shelley (Peter) Kovach, Plainfield; two sons, Bruce "Chip" (Amy) and Brett (Stacy), both of Plainfield; five brothers, Ron Bender, Glennwood (Kathy) Bender, Conrad (Sandy) Bender, Ivan (Kris) Bender and Bob (Joan) Davis; three sisters, Cindi (Jeff) Helms, Carol (Bob) Laefer and Joy Maly; and six granddaughters.
