OBITUARY FROM THE HOBART DEMOCRAT-CHIEF:

Bessie Maybelle Potter, 87, died May 15, 2011 in Wichita, Kansas after an extended illness.

She was born December 15, 1923 to Grover and Alma Zeen (Cruzon) Baker in Roosevelt, Oklahoma. She graduated from Roosevelt High School.

She married Warren G. Potter, April 22, 1945 in Roosevelt. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was a homemaker but also worked for civil service at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas and was a secretary for the Harlandale Church of Christ in San Antonio.

Survivors include two sons; Larry Potter, Wichita, Kansas; and Tony Potter, San Antonio, Texas; two daughters, Patty Campbell, Lakeland, Florida; and Karen Frederick, Avondale, Louisiana; two sisters, Beulah Wilshire, Moore, Oklahoma; and Barbara Hilliard, Lawton, Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
