William T. Matz, a carpenter-contractor, died yesterday at his home., 1462 Main St., Bethlehem. He was 68. Born in Bingen, he was a son of the late William A. and Sarah Troutman Matz. He was a member of Ebenezer Bible Fellowship.
Surviving are his wife, the former Anna E. Wismer; two sons, Donald W. of Bethlehem and The Rev. William of Palmyra, N.J.; a daughter, Mrs. Mary E. Greenzweig of Bethlehem; four brothers, Charles and Emory of Bethlehem, Mark of Center Valley and Ralph of Philadelphia; four sisters, Clycema Conrad and Sarah Matz of Bethlehem; Mrs. Harry Hedes of Catasauqua; and Mrs. Leah Rickert of Philadelphia. five grandchildren also survive.
Services will be at one p.m. Monday in the Steyers Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem, with viewing tomorrow night.
