Thomas Holman Lathrop died April 9, 1991. He was born March 23, 1931, in Washington, D.C. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Waldo Lathrop and mother, Ruth Barnes Lathrop. A graduate of Bowdoin College and member of Zeta Psi Fraternity,

Tom was an insurance executive in Oklahoma City as partner in Lathrop-Merrick Associates, Inc. He attained the professional designation of CLU in 1975. He was a member of AMBUCS and a former member of the Medical Employees Federal Credit Union. Within All Souls Episcopal Church, Tom was president of the Mens' Club and an active member of the church. As a member of St. Marks Episcopal in Perry, Oklahoma, he was a former senior warden.

Tom is survived by his wife, Frances Tedesco Lathrop; daughter, Pamela Lathrop Shelton; son, Anthony Philip Lathrop; sister, Mary Watts; daughter-in-law, Susan Michael Lathrop; son-in-law, James Russell Shelton; and grandchildren, Francesca Ruth Shelton and James Russell Shelton. Tom's talent for life will never be forgotten. Services will be Saturday, 11:00 a.m. at All Souls Episcopal Church with interment at Rose Hill Cemetery. Memorials: All Souls Episcopal Church, Oklahoma City; St. Marks Episcopal Church, Perry, Oklahoma; American Cancer Society.
