HINESVILLE - Mrs. Pearl A. Bowen, 89, died Monday at Liberty Memorial Hospital in Hinesville after a long illness. The Bulloch County natived lived in Hinesville after 49 years. She was the former owner of Liberty Cleaners Hinesville and a member of First Baptist Church in Hinesville.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Groover of Hinesville; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; ; two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Carter Funeral Home in Hinesville, burial in Eastside Cemetery in Statesboro.
