Katherine Martin Parker, 83, of Snow Creek, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 1995, at Franklin Memorial Hospital. Born October 4, 1912, a daughter of the late William H. and Matilda Martin. She was preceded in death by her husband W. Wilson Parker; a sister, Eliza J. Love; and a brother, Oliver C. Martin. Surviving are two brothers, William P. (Pat) Martin, Martinsville and Rob Roy Martin, South Carolina; four nephews; two nieces; several great-nieces and nephews. Also surviving are special friends, Bernard and Lucille Cooper, Salem. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, November 10, 1995, at Snow Creek Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Snow Creek Christian Church, c/o Rev. Berlin G. Hanks, Route 5 Box 362, Martinsville, Va 24112. Arrangements by Lynch Funeral Home, Rocky Mount.
