John was born on June 5,1919 in Red Lion Pa. He was the son of the late Albert S. and Mary (nee: Frey) Geesey. He was employed by Cole Steel located in York,Pa.for a number of years. He retired in 1981. He belonged to the America Legion of Dallastown Post 605.
Mr. Geesey is survived by four sons, Gary L. Geesey of York,John F. Geeswey of Red Lion,Stephen A. Geesey of Dover, and William M. Geesey of Red Lion; two daughters, Judith A.Albright and Joan E. Dodson, both of York; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The service will be 10a.m. Wednesday at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home Inc., 104 W. Main St.,Dallastown. Burial will be in Blymire's Cemetery. The viewing will be 9 to 10a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Officiating at the service will be Rev. George R. Knarr.02-12-94.
