Margaret R. Corey, 85, formerly of Dallastown, died Monday, April 23, 2007, at the Masonic Homes, Elizabethtown. She was the wife of the late Floyd P. Corey. She was born June 30, 1921, in York, the daughter of the late Oscar Fred and Lucy Ann (Senft) Whimert. Margaret retired in 1979 as a sales clerk for the Bon Ton stores. She was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Dallastown for over 50 years. Margaret is survived by a daughter, Judith A. Albright of Red Lion; four sons, Gary L. Geesey of York, John F. Geesey of Red Lion, Stephen A. Geesey of Dover and William M. Geesey of Red Lion; 15 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Joan E. Dodson, who died in October of 1998. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 105 E. Main St., Dallastown, with her pastors, the Rev. Roger H. Mentzer and the Rev. Dr. Carl B. Rife, officiating. A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
