Oliver Shufflebotham, 78, of 210 Wisconsin Ave., Sheboygan Falls, died this morning at St. Nicholas Hospital following a short illness. Born Jan. 30, 1890, in Glenbeulah, a son of the late Oliver and Anna Ewald Shufflebotham, he spent most of this childhood in Greenbush. On July 21, 1915, he married Helen Kanske in Kiel. They made their home in Kiel until moving to Sheboygan Falls nearly 40 years ago. Mr. Shufflebotham was employed at the Jenkins Machine Co., as a machinist for 27 years before retiring 13 years ago. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Sheboygan Falls.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Heinz (Evelyn) Kressmer of Grafton; and Mrs. Elton (Kathleen) Blanke and Mrs. Georgine Westphal, both of Sheboygan; two sons, James C. of Milwaukee and Roland W. of Ontario, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and four sisters, Mrs. Joe Meyer, Mrs. William Cudworth and Mrs. Helen Biederwolf, all of Plymouth, and Mrs. Otto Behr of Elkhart Lake. He was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services will be held at Huehn's Funeral Home at Sheboygan Falls, with the Rev. Douglass McKee, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating
