Mrs. Caroline Strade, 63, a former Plymouth resident, died early Monday evening following a lingering illness.
Born Jan. 8, 1886, in the town of Greenbush, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Shufflebotham.
Since her marriage to Theodore Strade in 1905 the couple made their home in Plymouth and the town of Greenbush.
Survivors include three sons, Monroe, Campbellsport, Gilbert, Phoenix, Ariz., and Robert, route 1, Oostburg; a daughter, Mrs. Harold Mills, Random Lake; five sisters, Mrs. William Cudworth, Town Greenbush, Mrs. Helen Schreffler, Mrs. Joseph Meyer and Mrs. Charles Halle, Sr., Plymouth, and Mrs. Otto Behr, Elkhart Lake, and four brothers, Oliver, Sheboygan Falls, James, Glenbeulah, Thomas, Prairie du Chien, and Fred, Sheboygan.
Her husband and one son, Harold, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p. m. Thursday at the Wittkopp Funeral home. The Rev. Louis Spilker, pastor of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran church at Glenbeulah, will officiate, and burial will be made in the Greenbush cemetery. The body will lie in state at the funeral home from 2 p. m. Wednesday until the time of the services.
