KALISPELL -- Funeral services for Isaac Clayton Branscome, 87, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Montana Veterans Home Chapel at Columbia Falls with the Rev. Bernard Colby officiating.
Burial will be in the Montana Veterans Home Cemetery with military graveside rites.
Mr. Branscome died at the home Wednesday. He was born Jan. 29, 1887, at Laurel Fork, Va., where he spent his early life. He moved to Rexford and lived there for 40 years before moving to Columbia Falls 15 years ago. He worked in the woods and the lumber mill business until his retirement.
Survivors include three sons, Harbert, Kalispell, David, Port Angeles, Wash., and Berdett, Eureka; two daughters, Dorothy Amesinger, Bremerton, Wash., and JoAnn Rearley, Fla.; two brothers, Harbert, Danville, Va., and David, Laurel Fork, Va.; and 16 grandchildren.
