Lloyd H. Banning, 93, Bradenton, died March 7, 2002 in Bradenton. Service will be held 10 a.m. Monday at Kirkwood Presbyterian Church, 610 Cortez Road W. with the Rev. William Hull officating. Burial will in Williamette Cemetery in Albany, Ore. Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Bradenton Chapel, is in charlge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be make to Kirkwood Presbyterian Church. Born in St. Lawrence, S.D. Mr. Banning came to Manatee County from Albany in 1990. He retired in 1974 as a metallurgical engineer with the U.S. Bureau of Mines. He was a member of Kirkwood Presbyterian Church. He was a member of the American Metallurgical Society, the Sons of the American Revolution and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. Survivors include his wife, Erika L.; a son, Maurice R. of Albnay; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
