Our beloved mother Lois Rosemon Herth passed away peacefully from Leukemia on Sunday, August 30, 2020 in University Place, Washington. She was born September 12, 1922 in St. Lawrence, South Dakota to the late Charles and Grace Banning. She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Robert E. Herth Sr.; her brothers Orval and Lloyd and sisters Verda and Lila.
Lois is survived by her son Robert E Herth Jr., Daughters, Lynn (Mike) Morris and Lori Herth; Grandchildren Tracey, John (Tara), Jodi (John), Brian and Andre; Great-Grandchildren Eris, Kyle, Karli and Kirsten, along with many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Lois was a wonderful devoted wife, mother, grandma, great grandma and aunt.
She graduated from High School in South Dakota, then moved to Washington where she went to business school. She married her love, Robert on January 15, 1943. Lois wore many hats in her life. She was blessed with three children and a parent to foster children. She was a homemaker and worked many jobs throughout the years. Her goal was banking and began as a teller at Tacoma Savings & Loan and worked her way up to become Vice President of Loan Servicing. The bank merged with American Savings and Loan, she loved every moment of her career at the bank and retired after working there for 20 years.
Lois would take painting and water color classes and she became quite the artist. Her favorite was to travel and every Winter her and Robert would go to Hawaii and enjoy their beach cabin every Summer. Lois was blessed with a long and wonderful life.

A private family service will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home & Memorial Park, Lakewood, WA. She will be laid to rest with her loving husband Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, WA.
