Born in Ferguson, May 20, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Bolin and Stella Dykes Wheeler. She was a homemaker and member of White Oak Baptist Church, Nancy.
Survivors include her husband, Samuel Zimmerman, whom she married March 20, 1955, in Rossville, Ga.; two sons, Timothy and Terry Zimmerman, both of Somerset; five brothers, David Wheeler, Dayton, Ohio, Tom and Joe Wheeler, both of Ferguson, and Glen and Bill Wheeler, both of Somerset; two sisters, Margaret Price, Tipp City, Ohio, and Nancy "Susie" Strunk, Ferguson; and three grandchildren, Laura Leigh and Chasidy Ann Zimmerman, and Nicholas Samuel Zimmerman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Donnie and James Wheeler; and a sister, Juanita Rutherford.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel of New Brothers Funeral Home with Revs. Thomas Adams and James Floyd officiating. Entombment will be at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
