Novie Marie Mann, 92, of Huntingdon, died Tuesday, January 8, at the Huntingdon Health & Rehabilitation Center. Services were held on Friday, January 11, in the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel. Brother Bill Goodpasture officiated. Burial followed at Sellers Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers who served were Sam Bailey, Tim Mann, Kevin Mann, Chip McWilliams, Charles Crider and Danny Woodard. Mrs. Mann, the daughter of the late Caleb and Sarah Simpson Roark, was born December 23, 1909, in Carroll County. She was a retired employee of Publix Shirt Corp, and a member of the Huntingdon Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Newt Mann, Sr., and a son, James Marvin Mann. She is survived by a son, Newt Mann, Jr. of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; two sisters, Corine Carnal and Addie Scott, both of Huntingdon; a brother, Audrain Roark of Nashville; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
