Irene Skogstad, age 67 of Eau Claire, died at Luther Hospital. She was born in rural Eleva. She lived most of her life in Eau Claire and worked as a bookkeeper for YMCA, the Kappus Automobile and Housing Units and the Jackson Insurance Agency.
Surivors include her mother, Minnie Skogstad, Mondovi; and for brothers; Jerry Skogstad, Spokane, Wash. John R. Skogstad, Mondovi, Melvin Skogstad, Spencer Skogstad, both of Eleva.
Burial in Eleva Cemetery.
